I often talk about those winter months when the light westerlies clear the sky and water leaving beautiful mornings with fantastic visibility.
Those days are in direct comparison to these humid and sticky days of summer where the onshore winds drive the swell and salt air onto the coast before disappearing overnight leaving the stifling conditions to swallow even the major landmarks.
Still, an eye seemed to be eerily watching over the start of the day with the sun being the only thing strong enough to shine its light over the entrance to Mooloolaba.
Now we wait for the afternoon storm to light up the sky and and bring some relief for a few precious moments! How we love the summer and all its moods
