Looking back,when I first started taking a morning pictures I was relatively cavalier in my approach. I found a nice place and took whatever sunrise came along. As time has passed my ability and eye has improved markedly and although I am more thorough in my preparation the temptation is to return to the familiar “safe” spots each morning.
A country run north this week allowed me to expand into the less familiar. I have always loved Elliott Heads, or at least parts of it. Unfortunately my favourite parts are not suitable for sunrise photography so after a look around yesterday afternoon I returned this morning armed with my camera and associated paraphernalia and waited in anticipation
