Tallows Beach

Driving home from my Birthday weekend I stopped to catch up with some friends outside Byron Bay and couldn’t help myself to head back into town and to Tallows Beach, a back beach sitting in the shadows of Cape Byron Lighthouse. With a light nor easter already blowing Tallows was calm and almost mystical with the tall headland rising up from the water throwing off an interesting colour in the early light. I then moved to the Iconic pass to find a table looking out over the small waves dribbling in on the wind and am fascinated by the eclectic mix of people. Backpackers and youngsters having just finished school exams are slowly wandering home with their night just finishing, whilst surfers, and runners are heading off to the beach to begin their day!
Ready for the final leg home now and the fond memories of catching up with old friends of whom I am so very proud. If there is any truth that you can judge a man by his friends then I am in a very good place!!
